The Cause of Christ
Before we go
into the message for this week I want to spend some time in prayer. We have so
many things to be thankful for and so many prayer requests. First I praise God
for his unconditional love. He really is so awesome. Sometimes we get so wrapped
up in the relationship with a loving God that we forget the tremendous power,
which He imparts. This week’s message is going to be somewhat the vision that
God has given me for this ministry. It is so much bigger than I am; it has to be
of God. But before anything else is said. Please pray with me.
Holy, Heavenly Father; We come before your throne in wonder of your glory. You are all powerful, all knowing all present. We call upon your name and seek your face that we might behold your glory forever. Forgive me Father for all of my sins. Forgive me for the sin, which I knowingly commit. Forgive me for the sin I inadvertently and unknowingly commit as well as the sin that I commit by not doing all that you have prepared for me to do. Father I ask that you send your Holy Spirit to dwell with in me making me into the image of your Son, My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for showing me the way to the Father. And you are that way.
Now dear Lord I lift up my church family to you. Lord, I pray for healing of cancer right now in Jesus name. I pray for those who have lost loved ones. I pray for your provision for all of us. Specifically Lord I pray for Rose Poston who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I pray that you give the doctors wisdom to treat her and you dear Lord, You provide the deliverance. Thank you Lord for delivering so many others from cancer. Thank you for healing Bonnie and Georgia. Thank you for healing Debbie and thank you for your continued healing of Gordy. Oh Lord God please be with the family members that are feeling sorrow and loneliness right now. Your word tells us that you love us with a never-ending love and underneath are the never-ending arms. Hold up your children today. I lift up Dave who recently lost his wife. I lift up Mary who is loosing her husband. Father God show yourself strong in these your children’s' hearts. Be their strength. Comfort them with your very presence.
There are so many others that need prayer Lord. Help me to stand in the gap for those who you would have me pray for. I offer myself to you as a prayer warrior and right now call upon your name, which is above every other name in the heavens and upon earth. You are my Lord. You are the one and only living God and you are with me at this very moment. Thank you Jesus for shedding your blood that I might be saved. Thank you for bearing the stripes upon your back that I might be healed. Thank You Holy Spirit for your constant and continual moving within my life. Bless all those that read these words and the one who rights them. Help us to know and do your will that we might truly be joint heirs with Jesus. For your Glory. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever. And I pray this by the authority which is in the name of Jesus; Amen. So be it!
Thank you for
praying with me this morning. I would love to hear from you. Please send me any
praise reports and prayer requests. You can either e-mail me at

The Encouraging Word exists to give hope and
encouragement to the broken hearted. To lift up the name of the Lord as a bright
banner of victory. To instruct all who will seek of the wisdom of the Lord. To
provide spiritual, emotional, social, and physical assistance to as many as God
leads. We are here for you. The message is a simple one; God loves you and He
cares about you and so do I. You are not alone in your struggles and we all want
to rejoice with you in your victories. We have all made mistakes but God is able
to take our failures and turn them and us around for His glory.
I know I mentioned the word “glory” quite a lot today. But I want you to know the richness and the splendor and the magnificence of the God that created it all. He is still on the throne and parting the Red Seas of people’s lives every day. Great and might things are being accomplished for His kingdom and you are a part of His glory. God has a special place for you in His kingdom. You and only you can touch the lives of the people that God will bring you in contact with. You are being in-trusted with the souls of God’s loved ones. God believes in you and so do I.

the people perish…(KJV)
The vision of The Encouraging Word is a global ministry reaching the hearts and minds of many who would not or could not god to a conventional church. Through weekly messages of encouragement, in home, informal small group bible studies (cell groups), regional conferences and national/ international live events. Yes the vision is great but in order for it to become a reality it has to start with you. You need to be encouraged. You need to be instructed. You need to be touched by the Holy Spirit and led to invite others to a closer walk with the Lord. It all begins with prayer. Listen to that small still voice and catch the vision. God is about to pour out His spirit upon this world like never before. Are you ready? Are you ready for the third great awakening? Are you ready for revival in your own life? Ask and you will receive. Knock and the door will be opened. Seek and you will find.
One of the main questions asked before anyone becomes a part of a movement of any type is why. I am including a vision that was written in the End-Times Handmaidens And Servants Prophet Report. If this vision touches your heart like it did mine then maybe you are ready for the move of God that is awaiting us all. Father God; prepare the hearts. Open our spiritual eyes that we might see the battle before us. Bless these words that they might lead us to the victory that is in you. In Jesus name;
Why Aren’t You Doing Anything?”

I saw the Lord sitting on a large white throne. A long long line of people were gathered before Him. I was standing to the side observing all of this. I was bewildered by the fact that all of these people had no face. Where their face should have been, there was just a blank. Each time a person came before the Lord, He would open up a book and read out of it all the things this person had done.
recorded; and the Lord read the whole book from beginning to end. Every person
in this particular line was being judged, and condemned to hell. Each time the
Lord would tell each person there were condemned, the person would begin to
scream and cry, and beg the Lord for just one more chance. The Lord had tears
rolling down His own cheeks, but would shake His head, telling each person they
had had plenty of opportunities to repent and live for Him. This went on for
quite some time. Finally, the Lord looked over at me, and asked me, “Why aren’t
you doing anything?” I was confused. “What would you have me to do, Lord?” I
replied. “Pray.” The Lord replied.
So, I began to
pray, but not really with any fervency. After a short time of this, the Lord
turned to me with concern and said, “Look at these people. Really look at them.”
As I did so, Their faces came into focus. They became people I knew vaguely.
They were acquaintances. I began to pray a bit more fervently for them. After a
time, the Lord turned to me again with stronger sternness, and said, “Look at
these people once again.” Now the people became friends.
“You must pray
harder.” The Lord admonished me. I began to pray a bit harder. But still, the
long line of people would come before the Lord. He would read them their life’s
story from their own personal book, and then be condemned. Once again the Lord
turned to me. This time in anger. He was still weeping over the souls who were
“Do you really
understand and comprehend what is happening here?” the Lord asked me. “Behold!”
Then a hole opened up behind the long line of people. I glanced towards the
hole. There was an awful darkness coming from it. I heard screams, and shouts,
and wails, and moans coming from the hole. “Go and look.” The Lord commanded me.
I didn’t want to. I was scared, but it was as if a hand were at my back forcing
me to the edge of this black hole. When I reached the edge of this black hole, I
glanced down in it. Then, I drew back in terror and horror. I could see down the
black hole. It appeared to be along, descending tunnel.
I could see a
seething, rolling mass of people at the bottom of this hole. They were so
crowded together they appeared to have no space between them at all. There were
flames, and a red orange glow coming from the bottom of this black hole. I
smelled sulfur (like matches). I saw fire and flames. I felt the intense heat of
the fire. I saw maggots crawling all over the bodies of the people at the bottom
of the black hole. The people were on fire, yet were not being consumed by the
fire. But, they were screaming out in agony and pain from the fire. They were
looking up towards the opening of the black hole. Their hands and arms were
raised upwards. They were shifting and moving restlessly like huge waves. And
they were screaming. Screaming for deliverance, for mercy. But there was no
mercy. There was no deliverance. I drew back from the edge of the black hole in
terror and horror and despair.
towards the Lord sitting on His throne. He was still reading from the books
piled next to His throne. And I knew that every one of the people who those
books were written about, were going to be condemned. I looked at the long,
endless line of people gathered before the Lord, waiting to be judged.
Now, I saw
every face clearly. They were my friends, my family, my relatives. And they were
being condemned. And I saw them being cast into the black hole, and I heard them
as they screamed as they fell down the long tunnel. The Lord turned to me, with
tears streaming down His cheeks, and said, “Now pray.” I began to weep and
scream out to God to have mercy on these people. As each person was condemned, I
ran to the edge of the black hole and tried to pull them back out of the black
hole. I would grab their hands and arms, and try to hold unto them. But they
would slip from my grasp. I was beside myself, trying desperately to keep these
people I loved from going down the black hole.
I reached out
and grasped onto the Lord, then reached down with my other arm into the black
hole to try and grab people out of the black hole. “Let go.” The Lord told me.
“If I let go of you, I’ll go into the hole myself.” I protested. “Let go.” The
Lord said again. I let go. It was as if unseen hands were holding onto me. I
laid down next to the edge of the black hole, reached down inside of it, trying
to grab ahold of and grasp onto the people who were falling down into the black
hole. I felt like I myself was being burned from the fire and the flames. At
times, I felt as if “claws” reached out from the black hole and struck at me. I
felt burns on my arms, and saw scratches appear on my arms. I was weeping, and
calling out to God for the deliverance of these, my loved ones. I was begging
God to have mercy on my loved ones, and to not condemn them to the black hole.
to pray for the lost when they are your own loves ones.” The Lord said to me.
“Remember, all the lost are my loved ones. I want My children to begin to pray
for these, My lost children, as you are praying for them now. I would raise up a
generation of intercessors to stand in the gap for My lost children. These
intercessors will feel the heat of the battle, and be burned by it. The forces
of hell will come against them, and attack them. Yet, I will be with them, and
will hold unto them.
… Now will you pray?”
I am going
to close for today. Please write me. Send in your prayer requests. If you want
to know more about starting your own home cell group we have all that material
available for you. Right now be comforted in the knowledge that “All things work
together for the good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His
purpose.” And you have been called. Are you Ready?
